Canopy Collapse At Largo Professional Center

Crews were dispatched to 11200 Seminole Boulevard at about 10:36 PM Friday night for reports of a structure collapse.
Arriving crews found a collapsed canopy which crashed down on the back of a pickup truck. The truck reportedly belonged to a cleaning crew that was working in the building. Â There were no reports of any injuries.
At this time it is unknown why the canopy collapsed but at least one employee that works in the building reports an ongoing water dripping issue from the canopy. Â The weight of any pooled water may have played a role in this collapse. Â Many inches of rain fell in the preceding 36 hours.
The Largo Professional Center building is home to a dentist and multiple medical offices. Â It was recently listed on-line as being for sale with a price tag of $1,950,000.
