Child Critically Injured in Clearwater Crash Sunday Evening

The four vehicle crash occurred just prior to 7 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2016 on the Pinellas side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway at Damascus Road.
According to Clearwater authorities, 18 month-old Gabriela Alvarez remains in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital.
The other child is listed in stable condition.
23 year-old Julie Gough was driving a 2003 Honda CRV and stated said she briefly took her eyes off the road after dropping a bottle of Gatorade. When she looked back up, it was too late to stop. The investigation continues.
