Members of the Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a pedestrian-involved crash at approximately 9:33 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Mercury Avenue.
Investigators say that 56-year-old male pedestrian crossing Gulf-to-Bay was struck by a westbound motorcycle.
The pedestrian was taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for treatment of minor injuries.
Next of kin for the victim has not been notified.
