Clearwater Police Arrest Man For DUI After He Drives On Sidewalk

Clearwater Police officers arrested a 29-year-old man early today for DUI after he was driving erratically on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. That included a stint of driving on the sidewalk.

Corey Sapigao of Clearwater first was noticed by another motorist near the intersection of Gulf-to-Bay and Belcher Road unable to maintain a lane.

He was stopped by officers a few blocks west and taken into custody.

Sapigao was booked in to the Pinellas County Jail. He also told officers he never has had a valid driver’s license in any state at any time.
