Crews battle a mobile home fire Wednesday night in Pinellas Park

Crews from Pinellas Park Fire Department, Largo Fire Rescue and Seminole Fire Rescue were dispatched to reports of a structure fire about 6pm this evening. The call for service was at 12573 Land Street which is located in the City of Pinellas Park.
First arriving units on-scene found a fully involved mobile home and initiated a fast attack. The occupants were not in the structure but there were reports of a dog still inside. The dog was located and was removed from the structure.
An energized power line was down very close to the burning structure and Duke Energy was dispatched.
Red Cross was called in to assist the occupants of the structure along with the rescued dog.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in about 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
