Detectives from the St. Petersburg Police Department are investigating the deaths of two individuals found in a condominium unit in the 300 block of 48th Avenue North.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, the police department received a call for a welfare check at Parklane Condominiums, located at 334 48th Ave. N.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased individuals in a residence.
The deceased are a man and woman who were in a domestic relationship. The preliminary investigation shows the man shot his girlfriend, then shot himself.
The deceased are identified 50-year-old Callie Wright and 59-year-old Neville Victor Albert M Jones.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit have initiated an investigation.
