Deputies arrest man after molesting 6-year-old child and a French Bulldog

On August 22, 2023, authorities from the Crimes Against Children Unit apprehended a St. Petersburg resident on multiple charges, including Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child, Possession of Child Pornography, and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.

The initiation of this investigation stemmed from a report made by a concerned woman who alleged that an individual she knew had sexually abused her 6-year-old child. Detectives determined that the suspect in question was 28-year-old Kyle Kiley of 5701 Haines Road in Unincorporated St. Petersburg.

It was revealed that Kiley had engaged in inappropriate physical contact with the child, capturing these disturbing actions on his cellphone. Upon discovering these incriminating videos on Kiley’s device, the woman promptly notified law enforcement.

Subsequently, Kiley was taken into custody and subsequently held at Pinellas County Jail following his arrest.

Throughout the course of the inquiry, investigators uncovered an alarming collection of over one hundred and sixty images and three videos involving bestiality on Kiley’s cellphone. These videos depicted Kiley engaging in sexual acts with a small black and white French Bulldog. The recordings showed Kiley in compromising situations, and making inappropriate physical contact with the animal’s genitals. The dog did not belong to Kiley and displayed no visible signs of injury.

On September 7, 2023, detectives added further charges against Kiley, specifically those related to Sexual Activity Involving Animals. As of now, Kiley continues to be held at Pinellas County Jail.
