The crash occurred at about 4:45PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2017
It is reported in the northbound lanes of I-275 near milemarker 21 (south of I-175)
Two trauma alerts was declared but the extent of injuries are unknown at this time.
Neither of the subjects appeared to have life-threatening injuried and were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
Hearing reports that the Deputy may have been from Manatee County.
