Detectives have arrested two men after gunshot fired during an armed robbery at a Bradenton grocery store

BRADENTON –  At approximately 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026, two masked men armed with handguns entered Tienda Latina (Latin Grocery Store), located at 1239 60th Avenue West, and demanded cash. During the robbery, one round was fired into the ceiling. The suspects took money from the register and fled the scene in an older model gray sedan.

Deputies responded to the scene and gathered information from witnesses in the surrounding plaza.

During the investigation, detectives located a vehicle matching the description just a few blocks away with suspected individuals inside. Search warrants were obtained, and multiple items of evidentiary value were recovered from the vehicle, including two firearms.

The suspects were identified as Juan Falcon, 32, and Alexander G. Turner, 38. Both were arrested and charged with armed robbery.
