On Monday, April 28, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a vehicle traveled east through the intersection of Central Avenue and Bayshore Drive NE before entering the water.
The driver, identified as Cassandra Kaiser, 27, of Winter Garden, FL, was able to exit the vehicle and swim to shore.
Following an investigation, officers determined that Kaiser was impaired. She was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence.
