Extrication crash on Belcher Road in Largo

Crews were dispatched to a traffic crash in the area of 555 S. Belcher Road shortly after 5:30pm this evening.

Largo Fire Rescue extricated one patient from a vehicle which had left the roadway following the crash. The patient was transported by Sunstar Paramedics to a local hospital for further evaluation.

It was raining at the time of the incident and Largo Police Department will be investigating the cause of the crash.

There were several accidents in Largo this evening including a vehicle into a ditch just south of the location at the same time.
