ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man died following a crash at a gas station on Roosevelt Boulevard Tuesday morning.
According to investigators, just after 8:30 a.m., a Chevrolet Malibu driven by 63-year-old Johnnie Miller entered the parking lot of the Circle K located at 10600 Roosevelt Blvd N. The vehicle struck a parked Toyota Tacoma at one of the gas pumps, then continued forward, running over a traffic cone before coming to a stop.
After parking, Miller exited the vehicle and collapsed. Emergency crews responded and transported him to HCA Florida Northside Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
