Fatal Motorcycle Crash Shuts Down Southbound U.S. 19 in Clearwater

Clearwater, FL – Multiple first responders responded to a fatal traffic crash early Monday, June 30, 2025.

The crash occurred shortly after midnight in the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 19, just south of Enterprise Road. According to witnesses, a motorcycle traveling at a high speed struck the barrier that separates the main highway from the access road.

The motorcyclist, identified as 27-year-old Leon Webb of Largo, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcycle was reported to be a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R600.

Southbound lanes of U.S. 19 were closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene.
