Female pedestrian struck and killed crossing Ulmerton Road Sunday evening

The Largo Police Department continues to investigate a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Ulmerton Rd and Seminole Blvd in regards to a vehicle that struck a pedestrian.

The initial investigation has revealed that a female pedestrian was crossing Ulmerton Rd southbound just east of the intersection, outside of the crosswalk. 

As she entered the eastbound lanes, she was struck by an oncoming vehicle traveling in the middle lane. 

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where she died of her injuries.
