Firefighter injured and 13 people displaced after overnight fire in Largo

On February 17, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Largo Fire Rescue units responded to a structure fire at 1295 Church St. 

The fire was extinguished, and thirteen occupants were evacuated and are receiving aid from the Red Cross.

One civilian patient was treated on scene with no transport to the hospital. One firefighter was treated, transported, and released from the hospital with non-life-threatening issues.

The origin and cause of the fire are under investigation.
