Firefighters battle house fire off Smoketree Circle in Largo

At approximately 10:56 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, Largo Fire Rescue and other neighboring agencies were dispatched to a structure fire at 8021 Smoketree Circle.

Upon arrival, crews found a large single-story residence with heavy smoke and flames showing. 

Firefighting tactics were initiated successfully, and the situation was brought under control.

All residents safely evacuated from the home. One resident received a medical evaluation on the scene but no hospital transport.

The State Marshal’s Office was called to assist in the investigation.
