Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department crews are on scene of a structure fire at a commercial business located at 528 S. Missouri Ave.
The call came in at 7:32 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 with reports of heavy smoke coming from Green Benches & More.

The business was empty at the time of the fire.
Clearwater Police are on scene assisting in traffic control.

One firefighter was taken to Morton Plant Hospital and is expected to be treated and released.
Investigators say that the cause was improper disposal of rags that were used to apply a product known to cause spontaneous combustion.
