Troopers from Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a crash that left a three year-old dead.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Wednesday, May, 29, 2019 in the 17001 Torvest Court in Land O Lakes.
Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and the child was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital by medical helicopter. The child later died from her injuries.
FHP is currently handling the accident investigation and have identified the female child as Remington Lily Solano. The driver of the Nissan SUV that struck the child was backing out of a driveway. Solano was riding a tricycle eastbound in the center of the roadway as the SUV backed up southbound in reverse and collided with her.
