Four Vehicle Crash in St. Petersburg Crash Leaves Man with Life-Threatening Injuries
On Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:10 p.m., two vehicles collided at 62nd Ave North and MLK St.
50 year-old Corey Allen was operating a 2017 Hyundai and traveling northbound on Dr.
MLK Street North. For an unknown reason, Allen’s vehicle collided with a 2015 Ford which was being driven by Darryl Martin who was eastbound on 62nd Avenue N.
The 2017 Hyundai and 2015 Ford struck two stopped vehicles following the initial impact.
The driver of the Hyundai, Corey Allen, was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with life threatening injuries.
Two other drivers were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where they were treated and released. The fourth driver did not seek medical attention.
The investigation continues.
