Clearwater Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Drew Street between Highland Avenue and Crest Avenue. The crash occurred at approximately 12:41 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
Clearwater Police officers have identified the two drivers involved in Wednesday afternoon’s fatal crash on Drew Street. Lacedric Graham, age 19 of Tampa, was driving a 2007 Toyota Corolla westbound when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2018 Ford F-150 truck driven by a 78 year-old Clearwater resident. Graham died at the scene and the 78 year-old driver was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious injuries.
Drew Street remained closed until about 5 p.m. during the investigation.
