Hillsborough Avenue closed due to serious injury crash involving a motorcyclist

The Tampa Police Department is investigating a serious injury crash involving a vehicle and motorcyclist that occurred at W. Hillsborough Avenue and N. Dale Mabry Hwy.

The crash occurred on Friday, August 9, 2024 at approximately 6:14 a.m.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, westbound lanes on W. Hillsborough Avenue at N. Dale Mabry Hwy. are currently closed for the duration of the investigation.

Drivers are asked to find an alternative route and any updates will be provided at iontb.com.
