Hit and run investigation underway after motorcyclist killed in Pinellas Park crash

Officers from the Pinellas Park Police Department are conducting a fatal hit and run crash investigation.

At approximately at 12:35 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020, officers were called to 62nd Avenue N and 55th Street for a crash involving a motorcycle.

Once on-scene, officers located the single occupant of the motorcycle deceased with no other vehicles in the area. The motorcyclist was identified as 45 year-old Jason Prine.

A small dark-colored pick-up truck was observed leaving the area immediately after the crash occurred through investigation and witness testimony. The pick-up truck was only described as dark in color with whitewall tires.
