Hit-and-Run Leaves Pedestrian With Life-Threatening Injuries in Clearwater

Clearwater Police are investigating a pedestrian-involved hit-and-run that occurred this evening in Clearwater.

Investigators say the suspect vehicle may be a red 2020s Ford Mustang convertible with a black soft top and front-end damage.

The crash happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to the scene.

An adult male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the area. The man was transported to a local hospital as a trauma alert with possible life-threatening injuries.
