Homicide investigation ongoing after man found shot in his St. Petersburg home

On Sunday, November 5th, Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department responded to 1033 19th Avenue South after relatives found 74-year-old Julius Moore, deceased in his home.

Late in the evening, after obtaining a warrant to enter the home, investigators were able to determine that Moore had been shot.

A homicide investigation is now underway.
