Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department responded to 10080 11th Street North at approximately 7:38 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024, for a “check welfare” call for service.
The victim’s friend could not contact him for hours and was concerned for his well-being.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim dead on the floor with upper body trauma.
The victim was identified as 49-year-old Timothy Pusteklak.
