Homicide Investigation Underway at Kings Meat Market in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg police are conducting a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting at Kings Meat Market, located at 1345 34th St S.

Officers responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 a.m. and found 42-year-old Deon Bell suffering from a gunshot wound. Bell was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying this person of interest.

Authorities have not released any details regarding the suspect. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

The investigation remains active. Anyone with information is urged to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department.
