Largo man arrested after shooting at noisy tree trimmers near his home

Officers from the Largo Police Department received multiple call about a man firing his gun at workers near this home located at 241 20th Street NW in Largo. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Officers say that 67 year-old Warren Coburn approached a landscaping company on the property next door threatening to shoot and kill the crew as he was unhappy with the noise they were generating. Approximately 30 minutes later, Coburn reportedly discharged his firearm at least twice at a worker who was in a cherry picker.

Multiple units converged on the scene and Coburn eventually surrendered to officers at approximately 2:10 p.m. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail and facing charges of attempted murder in the first degree
