Largo Police searching for shooting suspect, victim in stable condition

The Largo Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday, August 7, 2024 about 9 p.m. in the area of Clearwater Largo Road and New Jersey Street.

A juvenile victim suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

Largo Detectives are continuing to investigate and no further information is 
available at this time.

This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no apparent threat to the public, according to the Largo Police Department.
