Man Injured When His Pickup Truck Crashes into Largo Restaurant
Firefighters from Largo Fire Rescue along with officers from the Largo Police Department were dispatched to reports of a vehicle crash at 1501 Clearwater Largo Road at approximately 6:40 p.m.
The male driver of a pickup truck lost control of his vehicle which impacted the north side of the Greek Island Restaurant. The driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The truck damaged the exterior of the building including a large electrical panel mounted on the wall. Duke Energy arrived to deenergize the box so crews could safely operate around the vehicle.

The Pinellas County Technical Rescue Team arrived on-scene to assess and stabilize any structural damage to the restaurant.
