The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) continues to investigate a hit and run crash that seriously injured a 2 year-old girl.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:51 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
Buddy Jay Kline, age 63 of Port Richey, was traveling on a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Oak Crest Drive near Glen Moore Lane.
Several children were placing basketball in the roadway at 7316 Oak Crest Drive in Port Richey.

The motorcycle collided with 2 year-old Izzabella Brinson. Both Kline and his passenger, 58 year-old Stacy Wegener, got off the motorcycle and engaged in a verbal argument with the parents of the child.
Kline fled the scene but was soon located by a Pasco Sheriff’s Deputy as he pulled into his residence.
Kline was arrested for failure to use due care, DUI, and leaving the scene of a crash.
