Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to Park Street North and County Road 16 in Seminole to investigate a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
According to investigators, a 16-year-old male was traveling southbound on Park Street North, in a 2021 Ford F150.
At the same time, 67-year-old David Lindholm was traveling westbound on County Road 16 where he stopped his 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle at the stop sign.
As the 16-year-old entered the intersection of Park Street North and County Road 16, Lindholm attempted to cross Park Street ultimately striking the driver side of
the pickup truck.
Lindholm was transported to Bayfront Health with life threatening injuries and in critical condition.
According to investigators, impairment appears to be a factor in the crash.
The investigation continues.
