The Largo Police Department and Largo Fire Rescue were dispatched to a vehicle crash at approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020.
Crews arriving on-scene located a motorcyclist laying in the intersection of 142nd Avenue and Belcher Road.
Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.
The vehicle involved stopped nearby and the driver remained on-scene and is speaking with investigators.
One witness of the crash reported the vehicle made a u-turn in front of the motorcyclist that was traveling southbound on Belcher Road.
All lanes of Belcher Road are expected to be closed for several hours during the investigation.
