Motorcyclist Dies Following Crash on U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor

Palm Harbor – A motorcyclist died following a crash on U.S. 19 early Wednesday morning, October 29, 2025.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Highlands Boulevard.

Troopers say a Kia Niro, driven by a 45-year-old woman from Port Richey, was traveling southbound on U.S. 19 when the driver turned left into the path of a northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by a 42-year-old man from Homestead.

The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the Kia. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Kia sustained minor injuries and was also taken to a hospital. A 49-year-old male passenger in the Kia was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
