The Largo Police Department Traffic homicide unit responded to the area of Clearwater Largo Road and 4th Ave NW in reference to an crash resulting in serious bodily injury.
The crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024.

According to investigators, a 2002 Kawasaki Motorcycle was traveling northbound on Clearwater Largo Road when a 2022 Nissan Altima headed west across Clearwater Largo Road colliding with the motorcyclist.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local trauma center as a result of their injury.

The driver of the Nissan showed no signs of impairment and sustained no injuries.
All vehicles remained on scene. This is a current ongoing investigation.
