Pinellas Park Police are on scene of a serious injury crash involving a motorscooter and a single vehicle in the southbound lanes of U.S. Hwy 19 N in the 11000 block (on top of the 110th Ave overpass).
The crash occurred on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at approximately 6:02 a.m.
An adult male has been transported from the scene with serious injuries and is being treated at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Currently southbound U.S. Hwy 19 is closed from 110th Avenue to 118th Avenue (Bryan Dairy Rd.) exit where traffic is being allowed to exit east and west.
Traffic Homicide Investigators are on scene and the investigation continues at this time. Additional updates will be provided once more information is madenavailable.
