Movie Filming Likely To Impact Traffic To And From Clearwater Beach
The Clearwater Police Department is cautioning motorists to pack a little bit of patience with them if they’re planning to travel along Memorial Causeway on Wednesday.
The ongoing filming of “Dolphin Tale 2” will affect traffic between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., with the most significant impacts occurring between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Motorists trying to get from downtown to Clearwater Beach – or vice versa – should be aware they may encounter delays due to the filming being done on Memorial Causeway.
To avoid potential delays, people who use that route can take the Belleair Causeway instead. Traffic on beach roads and on Court Street – the thoroughfares leading to Memorial Causeway – also may be affected.
