Multiple victims treated for gunshot wounds this evening in Clearwater

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a shooting call in the 400 block of North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The call for service came in shortly before 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Police say that two victims, an adult male and an adult female, were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg by ambulance as trauma alerts. Both are in serious condition at this time.

A third person turned up at Morton Plant Hospital with a minor gunshot wound. It is thought that it may be related to the shooting call, according to the Clearwater Police Department.

No other information is available at this time, and the investigation continues.
