Naked man halts traffic on US-19 in Pinellas Park

Multiple people reported a male subject walking into traffic on US-19 near Mainlands Boulevard in Pinellas Park at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2020.

Responding officers were notified that the male was completely nude and halting traffic on US-19. Upon arrival, they found that an officer from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission was already out with the subject.

At one point in time, the man laying down in the roadway before starting to run from officers.

Officers were able to safely take the man into custody and requested paramedics for a medical evaluation.
