Oldsmar— First responders were dispatched to a traffic crash at approximately 6:38 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the intersection of Tampa Road and East Lake Woodlands Parkway in Oldsmar.
The crash reportedly involved a Slingshot three-wheeled vehicle and a red Chevrolet Corvette. The adult male operator of the Slingshot sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
Oldsmar Fire Rescue responded to the scene with assistance from Sunstar Paramedics, East Lake Fire Rescue, and Palm Harbor Fire Rescue.
Eastbound lanes of Tampa Road are expected to remain closed for several hours while the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) Main Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) conducts its investigation.
