One Injured After Vehicle Crashes into Ditch in Pinellas Park

Units from Pinellas Park Fire Department were dispatched to reports of a vehicle crash about 12:15 pm this afternoon. Units arriving on scene found one vehicle upright in the ditch next to 102nd Avenue near 52nd Street.

Crews worked in the water and dealt with a steep incline while extricating the occupant of the vehicle.
It appeared that a United States Postal Service Delivery Van may have also been involved in the crash.

Sunstar Paramedics and Pinellas Park Police assisted on scene.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation and injuries did not appear life-threatening.
