One Pedestrian Killed and Another Critically Injured on US-19 in Palm Harbor
The fatality pedestrian crash occurred at approximately 3:52 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 in the northbound lanes of US-19 at Alderman Road.
A 47 year-old Palm Harbor man was driving northbound on US-19 approaching Alderman Road in the outside center lane in a 2016 Honda Civic.
Two 18 year-olds were crossing eastbound along the south portion of the intersection of US-19 and Alderman Road against a pedestrian walk signal and traveled into the path of the Honda.
As a result of the collision, 18 year-old Cameron Bolle of Palm Harbor died at the scene. 18 year-old Kaylee Cramer of Palm Harbor was critically injured and transported to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of US-19 until 7:10 AM.
According to FHP, alcohol did not appear to have been a factor in the crash.
