ST. PETERSBURG – A Palm Harbor man faces multiple charges following a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
According to police, 28-year-old Johnerik Track was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram westbound in the 1500 block of 1st Avenue North when he struck vehicles stopped at a red light at the intersection of 16th Street North. The collision pushed the vehicles into others waiting at the light. One person sustained minor injuries.
Investigators say Track fled the scene without providing information or rendering aid. He later struck a city light pole and crashed into a fence near 20th Avenue North and 2nd Avenue North before abandoning the truck. Officers located Track in a nearby yard, where he was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The track was initially taken into custody for violating probation on an unrelated charge. On Wednesday, October 1, the investigating officer formally charged him with:
