One lane of Park Boulevard closed at Lake Seminole for emergency repair to stop water flow from Lake

One westbound lane of Park Boulevard is closed at Lake Seminole due to emergency repair

The weir (water control device) on the south end of Lake Seminole was damaged during Hurricane Helene and is releasing water into Long Bayou at an accelerated rate.

Park Boulevard is closed in both directions between the entrance to Seminole Isles/Lake Seminole Park and 104th Lane. The alternate east-west route is 102nd Avenue.

Pinellas County crews are working on emergency repairs. Lake levels are expected to continue dropping. A permanent repair is being planned and will be initiated as soon as possible.

Please avoid the area if possible.
