Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Jeep on US-19 in Palm Harbor

Palm Harbor, FL – A 54-year-old Palm Harbor man was fatally struck by a Jeep Wrangler while attempting to cross US-19 near Innisbrook Drive on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. as the Jeep, driven by a 38-year-old Palm Harbor man, was traveling southbound. The pedestrian reportedly walked into the path of the vehicle, resulting in a collision.

Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

The driver of the Jeep remained on-site and cooperated with investigators.
