Due to a fatality crash, 112th Avenue NE is shut down in both directions. The St. Petersburg Police are asking drivers to seek an alternate route.
At 6:52 a.m. this morning, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian near 115 112th Avenue NE. The pedestrian, an adult female, was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital and was later pronounced dead.

Next of kin has not been notified.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
