Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Tampa Road in Palm Harbor
Palm Harbor, FL – A pedestrian was fatally injured in a crash early Wednesday morning, January 8, 2025, on Tampa Road west of US-19.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 6:25 a.m. when a 44-year-old Palm Harbor man attempted to cross Tampa Road in a southbound direction. The man entered the path of an eastbound Hyundai SUV driven by a 41-year-old Palm Harbor woman.
The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he died due to his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
