The crash that left the pedestrian seriously injured occurred at approximately 4:33 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023

This crash occurred in the 11300 Block of southbound US Highway 19 N and involved a pickup truck and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was crossing US Highway 19 N and was struck by the pickup truck.

The pedestrian was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with life-threatening injuries.

This investigation is active and ongoing.

The roadway was reopened shortly before 7 p.m.
