Pinellas Deputies Arrest Intoxicated Man For Driving The Wrong Way On US 19 In Palm Harbor

Deputies arrest a Palm Harbor man after he drives northbound onto US Highway 19 into the southbound lane from Republic Drive. This occurred at about 6:11 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
According to Sgt. Elizabeth Brady with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, 28 year-old Zachary Che Annas was driving a black Mazda 3 eastbound on Republic Drive when he turned northbound onto US Highway 19 into the southbound lane. The vehicle was spotted by a Deputy who conducted a traffic stop. According to Deputies, the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was arrested without incident for Driving Under the Influence.
He is currently being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $500 bail.
