Pinellas Detectives Investigate the Shooting of a 38 Year-old Man in Unincorporated Clearwater
Pinellas detectives are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a man
in unincorporated Clearwater.
At approximately, 7:23 am on Sunday, September 24, 2017, deputies were called to a residence located at 14660 64th Street North regarding an armed person.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim 38-year-old Taqufik Borji, also known as Trophie, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Borji was flown to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with life threatening injuries.
Detectives have not released a motive but say the shooting does not appear random.
