PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — A Pinellas Park man was arrested Thursday, May 15, 2025, following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving three juvenile victims.
Jeremy Brooks, 52, was taken into custody by the Pinellas Park Police Department after detectives determined he had engaged in ongoing sexual conduct with the victims. Police stated that the three victims, all female and between the ages of 12 and 18, are known to Brooks and that relationship is familial in nature.
The investigation began after authorities received a report of alleged inappropriate sexual activity involving Brooks and the juveniles. Detectives said the incidents occurred over an extended period.
Brooks is charged with the following offenses:
Capital Sexual Battery (victim under 12 years of age)
Sexual Battery – Familial or Custodial Authority
Lewd and Lascivious Battery
Possession of THC
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of cyclobenzaprine without a prescription
Possession of tizanidine without a prescription
Possession of marijuana
The Pinellas Park Police Department will not release information that could identify the victims, in accordance with Florida State Statute 119.071(2)(h)1.b.
